کہتے ہیں ایک بچے نے کچھوا پال رکھا تھا، اُسے سارا دن کھلاتا پلاتا اور اُسکے ساتھ کھیلتا تھا۔
سردیوں کی ایک یخ بستہ شام کو بچے نے اپنے کچھوے سے کھیلنا چاہا مگر کچھوا سردی سے بچنے اور اپنے آپ کو گرم رکھنے کیلئے اپنے خول میں چُھپا ہوا تھا۔
بچے نے کچھوے کو خول سے باہر آنے پر آمادہ کرنے کی بُہت کوشش کی مگر بے سود۔ جھلاہٹ میں اُس نے ڈنڈا اُٹھا کر کچھوے کی پٹائی بھی کر ڈالی مگر کوئی نتیجہ نہ نکلا۔
بچے نے چیخ چیخ کر کچھوے کو باہر نکنے پر راضی کرنا چاہامگر کچھوا سہم کر اپنے خول میں اور زیادہ دُبکا رہا۔
بچے کا باپ کمرے میں داخل ہوا تو بچہ غصے سے تلملا رہا تھا۔
باپ نے بچے سے پوچھا؛ بیٹے کیا بات ہے؟
بچے نے اپنا اور کچھوے کا سارا قصہ باپ کو کہہ سُنایا، باپ نے مُسکراتے ہوتے بچے کا ہاتھ تھاما اور بولا اِسے چھوڑو اور میرے ساتھ آؤ۔ بچے کا ہاتھ پکڑے باپ اُسے آتشدان کی طرف لے گیا، آگ جلائی اور حرارت کے پاس ہی بیٹھ کر بچے سے باتیں کرنے لگ گیا۔ تھوڑی ہی دیر گُزری تھی کہ کچھوا بھی حرارت لینے کیلئے آہستہ آہستہ اُن کے پاس آ گیا۔ باپ نے مُسکرا کر بچے کی طرف دیکھا جو کچھوے کو دیکھ کر خوش ہو رہا تھا۔
باپ نے بچے کو مُخاطب کرتے ہوئے کہا: بیٹے انسان بھی کچھوے کی طرح ہی ہوتے ہیں۔ اگر تم چاہتے ہو کہ وہ اپنے خول اُتار کر تمہارے ساتھ کھلے دِل سے ملیں تو اُنہیں اپنی مُحبت کی حرارت پہنچایا کرو، ناکہ اُنہیں ڈنڈے کے زور پر یا اپنا حُکم چلا کر۔
پُر کشش اور جادوئی شخصیت والے لوگوں کے پوشیدہ رازوں میں سے ایک راز یہ بھی ہے کہ وہ:
زندگی میں لوگوں کو اپنی مُحبت کی حِدت اور اپنے جذبات کی گرمی پہنچا کر اُنہیں اپنا گرویدہ بناتے ہیں، اُن کی تعریف و تحسین اور قدر سے اُن کے دِلوں میں اپنے لئے پیار اور چاہت کے جذبات پیدا کرتے ہیں اور پھر اِنہی جذبات کے بل بوتے پر اُن پر اور اُنکے دِلوں پر حکومتیں کرتے ہیں۔
اور انسانی مخلوق تو ہے ہی ایسی کہ کوئی بھی اُسکے دِل میں گھر نہیں کر سکتا سوائے اِس کے کہ اُس کے ساتھ جذبات کی گرمجوشی، سچے دِل اور روح کی پاکیزگی کے ساتھ مِلا جائے۔
حبیبنا و رسولنا سرکارِ دوعالم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں کے دلوں کو جیتنے کی حسرت رکھنے والوں کو احساس، اخلاق اور جذبات کی اہمیت ایسے ارشاد فرمائی ہے:
حدیث مبارک کا ترجمہ کُچھ یوں ہے: ابو ھریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:
تم لوگوں کو اپنے کثرتِ مال کے ذریعے مسخر نہیں کرسکو گے۔ ہاں وہ ان سے مسخر ہوں گے جو ان سے خوشیاں بانٹے گا اور حسنِ خلق کا مظاہرہ کرے گا

The war we are warning against is the last final phase

And let us clarify one critical point. People ask us, challenge us, even try to humiliate us by making fun of our argument that we have about 16 weeks to develop a response. They jokingly ask us when will the war begin?

The war we are warning against is the last final phase when the enemies will launch a physical military invasion upon Pakistan!! After that, there will be NO tauba but slaughter only. That is about 16 weeks away!!! We can still stop the enemy's advance by blocking the NATO supplies and bringing in a patriotic caretaker government which must ruthlessly eliminate terrorists and the corrupt. If Pak army can do this, we can stop the external invasion, else we will become Iraq!

To those deaf, dumb and blind, we want to say that for Allah sake, fear Allah and open your eyes -- the WAR HAS ALREADY BEGUN!!!! We have already given 100,000 dead and wounded, nearly 10,000 officers and men have died so far, more than wars of 1965 and 1971! the entire country is a battle field from Gilgit Baltistan to Quetta to Karachi -- this war is being fought in our cities, in our media, in our economy, in our ideology, in our politics, in our streets !! This is called 4th Generation war!!! They are making us into Somalia now. Then the invasion to make us Iraq, then the division to make us Yugoslavia.

Do not be idiots, for Allah's sake. Wake up and keep the enemies away from your walls. If he enters the house, then you will have to fight within your families, women and children. Take the advice from Naseem Hijazi! This nation only has last few weeks to either rise or perish! That is why Aulia and Fuqara are now doing Bud-dua for the Hukmarans and the Qazi!

Imran Nazar Hosein was born in the Caribbean island of Trinidad in 1942 to parents whose ancestors had migrated from India as indentured labourers. He studied Islam, Philosophy and International Relations at several universities and institutions of higher learning. Among them are al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt, the Institute of International Relations of the University of the West Indies in Trinidad, the University of Karachi in Pakistan, the Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies in Karachi, Pakistan, and the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.

He has traveled continuously and extensively around the world on Islamic lecture-tours since graduating from the Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies in 1971 at age 29. And he has also written more than a dozen books on Islam that have invariably been received with public respect.
